The previous title of this film was 'The Bear and the Bow', but later it was changed to Brave. This is the first fairy animated film Pixar studio is producing. Pixar has fired Brenda Chapman and replaced her with Mark Andrews but Pixar agree to give credit to Brenda Chapman as one of the directors of Brave. In an interview with Brenda when she was asked that why she was got fired she replied in an serious words "If you are a girl then you can do it, according to the animation industry".
