The Toy Story 3 film start with Andy, now he is 17 years old and ready for college. Andy's mother asked him to donate his childhood toy, but he decided to keep then. He takes woody with him and packs all other toys in a garbage plastic bag to put then in the attic, but Andy's mother mistaken toy's bag as a garbage bag and puts the toy's outside as a garbage.
All toys Think that Andy is now to old for toys so they decided to get donated to SunnySide Daycare. Woody was only toy who knows the truth, he try to explain but all other toys refused to listen. At the SunnySide all the toys got warm welcome from SunnySide Day Care Toys, SunnySide Daycare toys king was Lotso Bear(Lots-o-Huggin). Woody tried lot to take back all the toy to Andy, but he left with out them by seeing that all the toy are happy at SunnySide Daycare. Very soon Andy toys came to know that they were played by very young kids who tortured and abused them. Buzz goes to Lotso to ask him to transfer them to older children, but in the way he way caught by some of the SunnySide Toys and Buzz was reset to original space ranger.
While escaping from SunnySide Woody was found by a girl from the day care named Bonnie. At the Bonnie house, her toys reveal to woody the truth about Lotso and SunnySide, Lotso was owned by a child but by mistake he was lost by his owner and replaced him, In a lot of anger Lotso took over the SunnySide Daycare and turn it into a Internment.
Andy's Toys came to know that Andy is looking for them when Mrs. Potato Head seen this scene with his missing eye, Which was lost in the Andy's room while playing. All Toys try to leave from daycare but imprisoned by Lotso and his henchmen, Woody return to SunnySide to help his friends escape. Buzz was accidentally reset to Spanish mode while escaping, due to this Buzz flirting with Jessie.
The Toys use a garbage chute to reach dumpster to escape outside the daycare, but unfortunately get caught by Lotso and his henchmen again. Woody and Ken convince Big Baby , Lotso's Chief enforcer about Lotso Way is wrong and the Big Baby throws Lotso into the dumpster but Lotso pulls Woody along with him into the dumpster just before garbage truck arrives. All toys try to rescue Woody but all fall into the dumpster, while falling into rubbish Buzz rescues Jessie from being crushed, In return a Broken TV falls on Buzz and resets him to the normal Buzz without leaving any memory about him other modes.
Garbage truck takes toys to a dump and put them on a conveyor belt for disposal. Woody helps Lotso and other escape shredder but Lotso left them to die. All toy hold hands to die together, but just before they were disposal giant claw crane operated by squeeze toy aliens rescue them.
Lotso was found by a garbage man and he tied Lotso to the front of his truck, The Toys return to Andy's house on a garbage truck and they were ready to be stored in attic, but Woody made a decision that his friends will be well served with Bonnie, So he leaves a message to Andy suggesting to donate toys to Bonnie.
At last and for last time Andy play with his toys before leaves for college, While Andy was drives away Bonnie Waves Woody hand towards him.
Woody, Buzz and rest of the toys begin a new life with Bonnie.
